According To Reports, Apple Is Creating Foldable iPhones and iPads
According to several rumors released on Sunday, foldability may be the next significant improvement to Apple’s mobile devices.
The Wall Street Journal claims that Apple plans to release two foldable gadgets over the upcoming years. In addition to a smaller variant that would function as a foldable iPhone and have a larger screen than the iPhone 16 Pro Max, there is a larger model with a 19-inch screen that may rival desktop displays.
Apple has been working on both gadgets for years, according to the Journal, with the folding iPhone probably being ready earlier. The company is reportedly planning a 2026 launch, but that could be pushed back by a year.
Although the company has also been “exploring” a folding iPhone, Bloomberg claims that Apple’s foldable development has primarily focused on the larger gadget, which it refers to as a huge iPad. The team is apparently making great strides toward their objective of developing a screen that doesn’t have the crease that can be seen when the current foldable screens are open.
