Stripe fetches aboard a new head of ‘startup and VC partnerships’

Bradley announced the news on February 2 in a post on LinkedIn. Her bio already shows that she joined Stripe back in November.

Stripe and Bradley were immediately available for comment. 

Bradley served as the chief sales officer of Synapse, a financial company that failed in 2024, leaving thousands of its customers shocked and stranded, for three years, ending in February 2019. 

After five months as the vice president of revenue at a business named Sila, she joined igniteXL Ventures as a venture partner for a year, and according to her LinkedIn profile, she co-founded Kinly, a financial services startup that targeted Black Americans. Greenwood, a digital banking platform for Black and Latino people and businesses, purchased Kinly in 2023. Funding for Kinly, formerly known as First Boulevard and Tenth, came from investors like Gabrielle Union, Marshawn Lynch, Kevin Durant, Forerunner Ventures, Point72 Ventures, Barclays,

Bradley also serves on the investment committee of the Cap Table Coalition, an organization that aims to attract investors who have traditionally been excluded from the investing process and is a minority partner in venture funds such as Cowboy Ventures and Ganas Ventures. CTC was developed with assistance from Richie Serna, who is currently the CEO of Finix, a payments firm that competes with Stripe. 

Through its startup partner program, Stripe claims to collaborate with startup accelerators and venture capital firms “to bring exclusive Stripe benefits” to portfolio companies. It has purchased several startups in recent years. 

It most recently revealed that it was in negotiations to pay an incredible $1 billion to acquire the stablecoin platform Bridge. Last July, Stripe acquired a 13-person Lemon Squeezy. This is a merchant of record that handled legal processing. The fees in every nation and calculated and paid global sales tax for digital products. It marking its third acquisition in 14 months and at least it’s 15th overall.
